"Evolution in Action"


The first ever hybrid sharks have been found in Australian water, signifying the possibility that the animals are adapting before our eyes to changing temperatures or human interaction. The hybridization between two types of black-tip shark is the first ever found in nature, and is "evolution in action" according to studying scientists. It is believed that the sharks have been hybridizing (is that a word?)  for many generations, and it allows the Australian Black-Tip Shark to swim into more temperate waters, extending its roam-able area as far as 2,000 km.
