The Canal

This is a new piece I've been working on for a few nights now..

I think it's pretty neat. It's not quite what I was thinking when I started...and theres still some stuff I'd like to work out...but it's getting there. I like how the sides seperate and begin to spread into the detail of the opposite sides, yet I'd like to define the detailed sections a bit themselves as well. Maybe an overall gray wash over the detail to link the ends...Maybe just on the left to help the composition.
