The Verses

Here are some close-ups of the "verses" or panels from my new book-piece titled "Beatus: A Book of Verses"

After a bit more work, these inner panels will display the ways to lead a bettter life. One will be based on morals, one will be based on living within our environment. The bottom photo or right side of the booklet is the moral "verse", while the first is the panel on living with the environment, within our means. They're in this order for a very big reason. Without the limitations of the first, the requirements and cut-backs needed in order to live in such a way where we are comfortable, happy, and in balance with that around us, I believe we begin to sway our morals to fit what we are looking for. If we allow a gigantic house that slurps electricity to run full-tilt with no repercussion, why would we assume a little white lie, or a little bit of indecency on our part would matter? If we take advantage of that around us, why wouldn't we feel OK taking advantage of people around us?
