Beatus: A Book of Verses

Finished this piece last night. It's the first multi-paneled "Book" that I've ever done...and I do like the concept. I think it present difficulties when you factor in showing it, especially online with the tactile nature of it, but the effect in person is very interesting. Being a book, people are less timid when approaching the item. Instead of automatically keeping their distance, they reach for the book, expecting it to be able to be touched.

For an artist who's always looking for ways to engage the average non-art person, it's an interesting find and project.....definitely worth more investigation. Enjoy.
