The Zimmerman Case

I've heard all kinds of opinions over the last few months on this case and the most troubling thing is that people on both sides have already made up their minds.

If you were against Zimmerman before, the new photos of the reported injury "might not be Zimmerman, aren't conclusive, and don't look that bad". His apology is "insincere, ridiculous, or proof of guilt." He's a racist vigilante.

If you thought Zimmerman was right, then the 911 calls were doctored, Martin was a hoodlum, and the media is convicting him without a fair trial.

Basically, both sides are so ridiculously blinded by their initial reactions that no evidence, barring an HD video of the incident (and maybe even not that), would convince them otherwise.

I'm not standing on either side...I think he made a big mistake getting out of the car to follow Martin, but after that, I have no real evidence to make a fair conclusion. I'd be assuming a lot to disregard Zimmerman's claim, and I'd be assuming a great deal about Zimmerman to say that he, in cold blood, shot the kid. The basic fact is that we really don't have all the evidence and therefore, we need to understand our opinions are just that, opinions; theories based on a fraction of the evidence...

All I can ask is that people, if you want to have a stance, completely wash yourself of the months of media frenzy and go over the issues at hand...Here are a bunch of links to various stories and information about the case...I'm just sick of hearing inaccurate crap being spouted from both sides followed up with a definite guilty/non-guilty verdict, as if we were there. It's stupid, it's irresponsible, and frankly, you just don't know. Just get informed...
