Some Asian Glaciers Actually Expanding

Contrary to the global trend, a couple of glaciers in the K2 mountain range near the Himalayas are actually expanding rather than shrinking, according to preliminary observation. It's known that climate change can create more precipitation in some regions, and if cold enough, can add to glaciers, but due to the fact other Himalayan glaciers are receding, its unknown if that's the reason here. Finding out why is extremely important, say scientists, due to the fact that 1 billion people rely on these glaciers for their fresh water...check it out.
