Two Depressing Stories

Well if that headline didn't make ya jump up and yell "WAHOO JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!" then we are in the same boat together...I guess there's just no point in sugarcoating some things, especially when it has to do with civil liberties or the lack-there-of.

The first article is about the hundreds of documents recently found in a junkyard, revealing the atrocities carried out by a number of marines during the Iraq War, specifically the Haditha massacre, none of which led to any convictions of the marines involved.

The second is about the "indefinite detention" bill and how Obama has shown through action that he is not quite the man with the ideals he claimed during his campaign and why we shouldn't be surprised he is signing the bill into law.
