Sounds super intense and important huh?
So in the end...it was a messy evening. Ink all over the floor, ran out of paper towels, ink all over my hands...ink all over the other ink! But it worked out well.
I think I came out with a bunch of good pieces, which I'll put up in a bit, and overall accomplished what I was aiming for. The big piece came together and really looks good, the smaller pieces, while a little more troublesome, came out lookin snazzy. I managed to mix in my "design" texture in there with a light blue which, I think, looks very classy and bold. The smallest pieces turned out interestingly as well. I ended up taking a larger piece and splitting it down the middle, creating two halves, each running off the page and creating a great foreground/background relationship...Altogether, each piece is different from each other. They each work as a singular piece...a unique image...but they also all share many similarities. They look similar, have similar technique and application of the medium, yet they don't look boring next to each other...each unique flare keeps them different, while all their similarities link them as a series...as of right now, I'm calling them successful.
