I know I posted a similar story yesterday but this article is more in depth and included this illustration which shows the "habitable zone" around Kepler 22b and in our solar system. It's really cool news so definitely read the article. Again, they don't know what it's made of so it could be a ball-o-gas planet like our solar systems outer planets, but the size, orbit, proximity to the star, and estimated temperature all make it the closest alien planet to earth we've found yet...
