People are coming together in the attempts to get a center built for the modernist artist Kazimir Malevich. Malevich was a pioneer of the avant-garde and the founder of suprematism, the russian art movement that focused on fundamental geometric forms in the early 1900s.
On top of the idea to build the center, the main proponents also had to go through quite an effort to find the artists actual grave, displaced during WWII, and now, have to defend the grave from construction equipment which is turning over the former farm field for a new building project.
