A recent study has totaled 140 newly discovered species for the year 2011 including sea slugs, deep-sea sharks, flowers and bugs. The find is great and scientists expect to continue to greatly expand on our knowledge of the diversity of life, even saying that their are thousands of species waiting to be discovered across the globe, but they also wonder how many species will go extinct before we ever knew they existed in the first place.
