A video released showing an electronically charged wave of matter from the sun hitting mercury created a bit of a stir when it illuminated an object just to the right of Mercury causing some to speculate that there was a cloaked object rotating around the planet, and even causing some people to announce that the "object" is a cloaked spaceship.
I have to say, the video is interesting and I definitely see where the spaceship ideas come in, but really folks, there's no way to definitively tell anything from the clip. First of all, I hesitate to assume I know ANYTHING when it comes to space and what happens in it. Or furthermore, how things react when hit with electronically charged particles. Secondly, I have no clue how the video is even captured, given that I doubt they just have a sony handy-cam floating around the sun.
In fact, scientists say that it is the method of video gathering itself which caused the "object" to appear. Unfortunately for us, or fortunately depending on how you think of it, it doesn't seem to be an alien spaceship...still interesting none-the-less.
