No White Skies or Red Sunlight. SOLD
I don't know if I already posted this at some point, but a recent favorite and exploration of gesture was sold a few weeks ago. No White Skies or Red Sunlight was one of the first (or actual first) pieces to use the black background with the pastels on top. I remember starting it, thinking that I'd paint over the white drippings and just doing it to see what came out...but the vibrance, the freedom, and the intensity that the piece has really struck me...and caused me to go further.
It's a small, simple piece...but a unique image, a striking visual, and a important piece in the Oeuvre of Daniel Fleming.
