Can Buddhism Unify Science and Religion

In pretty much every religious circle, science is a challenge. Many people know it's truths, but cringe once it begins to get too close to long-held beliefs. In scientific circles, many religious beliefs are totally disregarded, seen without evidence or proof, sometimes regarded as laughable. But does it have to be that way?

Could we actually learn from both; attribute knowledge from one to the other and vice versa? The Tibetan Buddhists think so, and the Dalai Lama is the main proponent. Take a look.

Great quote from the article....by Einstein
The religion of the future will be cosmic religion. It should transcend a personal God and avoid dogmas and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual and a meaningful unity.
