A new 44 story apartment/hotel/retail skyscraper was proposed and endorsed by County Executive Chris Abele, in a move to renew lakefront development and bring some new possibilities to the downtown area.

My two questions:
1.It doesn't look BAD, but why does it look like 100 other skyscrapers on the planet, including looking similar to one to the right, University Club Tower?
2. Are we really lacking that much high-end apartments and condos? We just built the Moderne, are we banking on the hope that a bunch of rich folks are gonna be moving downtown soon? If so, I hope they're right and it doesn't end up empty.
