After posting a letter from a former Eagle scout who decided to return his medal, other scouts have followed suit, returning their hard-earned Eagle-Scout medals in favor of supporting their belief of basic human rights over the organization which, they assert, has turned their back on the very morals they promote and (attempt to) exude. Take a look.

I was a boy scout for a long while and loved it. I did most everything except get Eagle, and only quit when our troop lost some of its key members and began to fall apart...that said I'd probably follow suit with these kids. It pains me to think that something I believed in so whole-heartedly would rather turn its back on such a large amount of people, instead of embrace them and strengthen the community, which scouts was supposed to be about.
If discluding 9 million people is part of being honorable in the eyes of the Scouts, then I want no part of that honor.
