I find that many bands i listen to make songs that seem to revolve around spirituality and, whether that's sarcasm, a more introspective spirituality, traditional religion, or simple exploration, I've always found it an interesting and engaging topic that can really speak to a large number of people. It's always worth forming your own ideas and opinions on things like "beliefs" and never a good idea just to become complacent with what your life is.
