Either way, this guy's work is pretty cool. It appears to be layers and layers of cut paper, each layer falling into the next creating a great interaction of color, shape, line and pattern. In some ways it reminds me of the great moments in my work when I scrape away a few layers of paint to reveal forgotten color, but here it takes on a much more intentional execution. The interaction isn't chance resulting from frenzied lines, it's planned...it's orderly...it makes sense. It's a much different result, a much different execution, but a similar idea...anyways, check out this SIMONELOURANCO and see if you can find links to more of his work...
