Juxtapoz Artist SIMONELOURANCO

Well I wish I could tell you what the guy's name is for sure or at least link you up to his site, but unfortunately there's not a ton of info on this page...

Either way, this guy's work is pretty cool. It appears to be layers and layers of cut paper, each layer falling into the next creating a great interaction of color, shape, line and pattern. In some ways it reminds me of the great moments in my work when I scrape away a few layers of paint to reveal forgotten color, but here it takes on a much more intentional execution. The interaction isn't chance resulting from frenzied lines, it's planned...it's orderly...it makes sense. It's a much different result, a much different execution, but a similar idea...anyways, check out this SIMONELOURANCO and see if you can find links to more of his work...
