Humans Tamed Fire 1 Million Years Ago

The first signs of humans with fire start showing up around 1.5 million years ago, but due to location in the open air, it's been impossible to judge whether those were natural blazes or man-made events. All evidence pointed to the idea that humans didn't control fire till around 400,000 years ago...until now.

Recent findings in South Africa suggest human made fires inside of caves up to 1 million years old, obliterating previous age-limits and opening up another million years of fire-aided development...take a look.
