New Theory For Stonehenge Structure

While it is one of the most popular ancient monolithic sites this side of the pyramids, scientists have yet to really iron out what exactly Stonehenge was for. Some say its designed for worship, with stones corresponding to certain star positions at dates throughout the year, one theory suggested the stones were acoustic tools to amplify the sounds of ritual taking place at the center....and a new theory says that the structure imitates the natural phenomenon of "auditory illusion," recreating something the ancients may have seen as "mystical" or "magical" if experienced without scientific understanding.

Interesting theory...but this option seems much more possibly coincidental than the structure matching up with equinox and solstice star positions in my opinion.
