Mine's Not A High Horse
This is the last piece I worked on over the weekend...and it's one of the few that have worked out from the very initial imagery I had in my head. I got the idea at the "Accidental Genius" show.
I admit, saying that this worked out from the start is grossly inaccurate. It's been a totally different piece for about a year, was repainted twice in the last week, and then went from a starry night scene last night to the horse you see before you. BUT, if you're just referring the horse idea, it came together fairly easily over a four or five hour period. It's a little quirky and odd...but i really like it and get a great sense of wear and tear, care, long-worked days and weathered history...
