This is a piece I've been working on the last two nights. It's not quite done, and I'd like the detail and intensity amped up a bit...but generally it's turning out. As of right now, It's called "The Column Cloud," a reference to atomic energy (or the cloud that results) and using the layout (similar to my monolith pieces) to compare that with the monoliths of ancient people. Where we once created everlasting gigantic tributes to Gods and prayers for future prominence, we now create instantaneous, yet momentary, declarations of our own power which could lead to our own destruction...it's an interesting juxtaposition of the times that I'd like to make more obvious yet.
