An 800 year old cedar tree had 80% of its trunk cut by loggers before park rangers caught wind and caused them to flee. The damage, however, was fatal and due to safety concerns, the rangers decided to fell the tree. Since then, loggers have returned to harvest the fallen tree, angering officials and leading to calls to enlarge security. Take a look.
