The Jester's Orbit. The Details

This is actually a new piece for Splash...so keep an eye out in the coming months and you might be able to sign up to paint the piece with me instructing a bit down the road!

I get an oddly positive feeling from this piece...a bit energetic and quirky...hence the title, The Jester's Orbit. I wanted the piece to evoke a more playful emotion while also referencing a favorite subject of mine, the cosmos, without seeming like a stark and isolated image. I wanted it to reference our solar system, the idea of the universe, without directly getting that sense of "awe". A more casual universe I suppose....
