Clyfford Still

Still was a great, though largely forgotten, abstract painter of the first degree. He could hold his own against greats like Pollock and Rothko, yet withdrew from the commercial art world in 1951 and never really showed much ever again. Take a read at this great article about Still, his new museum, and the director, Dean Sobel, who once made it his mission to bring great art to Milwaukee.

Great Artist, sounds like a great museum.
