A bunch of scientists in Hong Kong released a study that "proves" time travel is impossible. Basically, the findings of the study say that no particles, even single photons, can go faster than the speed of light, thus making traveling through time impossible...at least through the method that had some theoretical possibility.
While it may seem a bit disappointing that we won't be going back to relive our best moments or catching the one that got away, at least we don't have to worry about that whole "Screwing up the future thing"....
