A new piece with a bit of a different palette than before. I don't usually use purples or burgundies, but with the hot yellow shining through the cracks, I really think the combination is pretty stunning.
The imagery is that of the church; the line-work agitated and varied...the object interchangeable with the background, the subject fading into scenery.
The dawn is the start of a new day, but also can signify the beginning of a new time. With improved access to knowledge and technology, a new sense of skepticism, recent controversies and the very negative outlook between groups these days...are we reaching a new dawn?
