I really just started listening to him recently (and by recently I mean today) because of the Chili Peppers concert I'm going to in the fall and I need to expand my mental Chili Peppers songobok...but I think I like his solo stuff maybe even more than the actual band. I just love it. The emotion he puts into his singing and guitar is awe-inspiring and really sweeps you up into the song.
