In a Weird Twist on Racism...

Nine African American employees of a Washington area school are filing discrimination claims against their super-intendant...who is also black. Apparently Ethelda Burke, African-American Superintendent, refers to some of the women employees as "slaves" and told one man to stop being "a big black man scaring the white drivers". Employees admit that they have put up with the discrimination because of Burke's color and some of the women even said that reporting her felt like a betrayal on their part...
"If she wasn't a person of color, me personally, I would have gone after her long before now," says Ritchie Coleman, a bus driver.

Racism is racism, no matter who's doing it.
