When you're working on a live painting, Building A City at the City Hall Art Jamboree, you expect people to take interest. Not out of arrogance or anything like that...but it's out of the ordinary. It's like a car accident, something interesting and different is happening and i wanna know what! What you don't always expect is someone to be interested enough to buy the thing, and what you really don't expect is for people to want to buy the piece 20 minutes after you started...
Interestingly enough for me, that last one was the case and I ended up recreating the half hour or so mark of the piece...I think it's really cool. I love the rough, bold, and more natural and basic look of this piece compared to the other....and while i like both of them, this one has a much more...abrupt feel to it.
