Stun Guns Not "Safe", but Great Benefit to Police

A new study claims that the safeness of stun guns has been greatly overstated on the side of the citizen, but that they help subdue a subject netter than most other forms of restraint.

Researchers say the findings are complex and that they are not suggesting that police stop using stun guns, but that they need to realize that they are not totally harmless. Basically,  police departments need to weigh if the ease for the cop is worth the potential injury to the citizen...It comes down to how much it helps the cops vs. how injured a person can get, and what is better for police overall...Take a look.
