A new study claims that the safeness of stun guns has been greatly overstated on the side of the citizen, but that they help subdue a subject netter than most other forms of restraint.
Researchers say the findings are complex and that they are not suggesting that police stop using stun guns, but that they need to realize that they are not totally harmless.
