The Sistine Chapel Frescoes are 500 years old and still drawing tens of thousands daily to gaze, bent-necked and all, up at the masterpiece completed by legendary artist Michelangelo. And while the veneration is nothing new, The Vatican announced that it may have to begin limiting the amount of visitors allowed to see the ceiling because of pollution, damage, and complaints from the religious about the circus-like atmosphere caused by the throngs of tourists..take a look.
