I'm In Love With My Car.

Art and cars usually aren't the first two things you'd pair together in terms of interests...but maybe that's just cuz there isn't that much good car art?

Introducing a new project in associating with a local Mercedes showroom, Parsifal; I'll be doing a "primitive schematic" series inspired by classic Mercedes for a showing to be announced as the project progresses. It will be a number of pieces with a variety looks and executions on the concept, but all will be based around the Mercedes 300SL through a few generations...take a look at the car in the showroom to get an idea of what we might be planning...and keep checking in for updates!

  1. True, art and cars are an uncanny combination, but it’s coming together nicely. I'd love to see how your "primitive schematic" project turns out. By the way, I love the paint job in that Mercedes. It's just too fresh to look at.

  2. Nice parts! Those are pretty unconventional designs, the likes of which we only see in showrooms of vintage cars. Art and cars are actually a good combination if you know your craft. Auto galleries actually offer parts assembly and matching for car enthusiasts like us. I suggest you check out the one nearest to you.

  3. I actually had an affair with my 1978 Ranchero. Hahaha. Well, kidding aside, Mercedes is a fine car, and that one looks great. I love that the paint of the car parts is colorful! “Primitive schematic” sounds interesting. How did the project go?
