A new piece...only partly finished and finally looking somewhat respectable after 5 hours of work and a lot of layers of paint. You could call it a waste of paint, but it really built up a fantastic texture on the surface and allows for some great mistakes on the later steps. You can scratch, peel and paint lightly over, using the previously laid brushstrokes to show through....Let's be honest, I didn't purposefully start with the intention of using three tubes of color on what would eventually become a black canvas, but that's sometimes the process...and intention is over-rated...
