Placed Piece Found! The Return of YAP

After about two years, you'd expect to never see a placement piece again. In fact, after about a day I usually assume my placement pieces have either been taken, thrown away, or some other third thing that results in me never finding it. But this last weekend I ran into someone who not only knew where one was, but took it and has had it hanging in his apartment for the last two years!

It's great stories like this that make me feel placement pieces and small works of creativity can really change things. Are they going to make the 6 o'clock news or get a reality show on TLC (that's actually possible given the programming they are moving to), Probably not...but they gave this guy a cool story to tell, got some art on a wall which may not have had it otherwise, and introduced some people to some work, some art, and some creativity in a way that most people just don't encounter.

Not everything that affects those around you needs to effect everything...sometimes a small change is the best way to go...

Glad that "YAP" has found a loving home...
