I find it funny when people complain that a painted portrait isn't realistic enough....as if they've completely missed the last 100 years in art and culture...and then say it's "bad" because of it. Could you prove your ignorance any more obviously?
Don't get me wrong, you're welcome to your own opinion of the piece and you don't have to like it (it's not the most spectacular portrait I've ever seen)...but I just find it astounding that people still refuse to believe that non-realistic painting "isn't art" or is somehow "easy."
