FIRE! FREEZE! The What.

It's the order of those words that matter...it's the order of those thoughts that define the person taking action...it's about trusting those with power to make the appropriate decisions...it's about us holding them accountable.

This piece doesn't particularly speak to one specific event, one specific abuse of power or force...but more the overwhelming sense that we the people we trust may not be looking out for our best interests...may not be putting our well-being first...that they may, in fact, be using us as a shield.

They might not be throwing us to the dogs purposefully, but there's a sense that we aren't being honestly spoken for...or honestly spoken to.

FIRE!FIRE!FREEZE!FREEZE! is about a failure of those in power...and unfortunately, that failure is usually most felt by the people working on the ground-floor.
