Iron & Wine. Ghost on Ghost.
I was a little late in getting my copy but finally got over to the Exclusive Company yesterday...take a look at some reviews of Iron & Wine's newly released "Ghost on Ghost".

Like his last album, you see a good mix of reaction with the majority being mostly positive...the dissenting opinions criticize, as with the last album, that it's not "traditional" Iron & Wine. "It's No Shepherd's Dog" is said by more than one person....but I don't think that's reason to dislike. If you want "Shepherd's Dog" go listen to that...don't criticize an album coming out a decade later for not being the same.
As with most artists with a characteristic sound, many don't want that to ever change. I, on the other hand, welcome the experimentation, the new sounds...the new feeling. If you want to listen to old Iron & Wine...then go ahead and do that. If you want to explore new music by a great artist, check out their new CD.
With that said, I do think I liked the last album better...especially after the first listen. I think this will grow on me a bit, but it I liked the darker, more discorded sound of "Kiss Each Other Clean"...at first listen a few songs on the album seem a bit too light and happy for me while a few others really caught my attention...
