Following the recent bombings, lockdown of Boston, and the massive manhunt that resulted in one suspect dead and the other gravely wounded, the mayor of New York City has said we need to rethink our understanding of the constitution in regards to personal privacy.

Basically he is arguing that we need better surveillance and less control of our own privacy in hopes that we can prevent this type of thing from happening again. While I agree that it was a tragedy, I'm not sure one successful bombing in the last ten years is good evidence for rethinking the entire constitution...I think he's just pissed his drink ban didn't work.
