Chernobyl. 27 Years Later.

No...I'm not setting you up for a terrible horror movie...although the reality of the place isn't a fairytale either. Take a look at some photos from Chernobyl and the accompanying town, Pripyat, site of the world's worst civil nuclear disaster 27 years ago.

The Chernobyl disaster is one that's always fascinated me. From the mechanical failures to human error,  to the abandonment of an entire town virtually overnight, the many story-lines that make-up this disaster continue to resonate and fascinate...take a look at the wikipedia page and documentaries on youtube to get a better idea of what happened in the world's worst nuclear disaster.
