By all accounts, Clinton gave a great speech last night that was energizing and empowering for the Democratic party...but will the sheen stick? Can the excitement of Clinton carry over to a President who has struggled to recreate the magic that won him the presidency four years ago?

While I pretty much agree that the speech was good and exciting...I've already seen a few "fact checker" stories that seem to say some of his statements were misleading...that's not good, especially following the firestorm of "Lie" accusations thrown around last week following the RNC ( i would've posted them but I figured the 8 million facebook shares got the point across). I also find it rather interesting that a large talking point has been the "war on women", even going so far as to have Sandra Fluke speak at the DNC, yet Clinton, who's list of "less than wonderful" treatment of women (including his wife) is quite long, seems to get a pass. I mean...at age 24, one of my earliest political memories has to do with the Monica Lewinski fiasco and now that same guy who stated "I didn't have sex with that woman" to the nation is now the face (or 2nd face behind the pres) of the party that calls for women to stand up to a future of oppression...just seems a bit odd to me...
Here's the fact checker story...
