Vesta Had Water, Spacecraft Finds

In a new twist to the search for signs of water in the universe, the Dawn spacecraft has found evidence that Vesta, the second-most massive body in the Asteroid Belt, had water. Scientists had expected the object to be dry, but some evidence points to water-bearing asteroids hitting Vesta and locking the moisture within the minerals.
