New research into old studies has concluded that LSD may have a direct effect in treating alcoholism. In trials, 59% of participants who were given the drug reported less alcohol abuse, while only 38% reported the same after given a placebo. Scientists still debate why or how it works, but it's an interesting find none-the-less...
