The Economy is Bad, But The Dog Painting Market is Good.

In a recession as bad as we've had, you'd expect niche luxury markets to take a bit of a hit. They rely on big ticket items for a very specific interest of, usually, a small amount of people. Well apparently dog paintings just don't follow those rules. Prices for dog paintings are on the rise, and as ridiculous as I find them, other people appear willing to continue paying top dollar...maybe I need to shift my subject matter. Anyway...just a funny and odd art story...take a look.

I knew should never have thrown out my velvet "dogs playing cards" piece.
