The New Ruler. Scale

Here's an image of my recent piece with a silhouetted man standing next to it, showing the scale of the piece.

It's a little hard to imagine the scale and create the effect the piece has in real life, but hopefully you can at least get an idea through this. I want to continue working and really make the image look mysterious, dark and ancient...as if it's weathered thousands of years of decay, erosion and even vandalism. The idea is to create a "spiritual" piece, dedicated to a ruler, yet has obviously been forgotten and disrespected through time.
