There's been a recent shift in my artwork and while it's not universal, strictly defined, or absolute, it's interesting to see how much of my recent work fits together, differs from, or comments on the other work I've been doing.
I've been inspired and interested in the art and motifs of the past...ancient carving and hieroglyphs of cultures such as the Maya, Southern Native American, the Summerian, to name a few...integrating their imagery and aesthetic while absorbing their concepts of death, religion, and spirituality and applying those to our lives today.
