When a judge overturned NYC Mayor Bloomberg's ban of sugary drinks over 16 oz, they did so because they thought the law had too many loopholes and, therefore, simply restricted freedom without accomplishing any of the intended goals. Bloomberg responded by basically restating that we have an obesity problem and sugary drinks are bad, missing the entire reasoning behind the reversal.
