Ben & Jerry's Co-Founder to Stamp Bills for Occupy

In a new effort meant to support and widen the grip of the Occupy movement Ben Cohen, the co-founder of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and one of Occupy's biggest financial supporters, plans to stamp bills with anti-corporate statements in an effort he says will be "tougher" for the Occupy supporters as well as the opponents.

One of the major criticisms of the movement from both sides has been a lack of consolidation of ideas, views and goals, and a perceived lack of real action, many demeaning the "occupation" tactics as childish and meaningless. At the very least, this gets the message outside of the parks and into the everyday mindset.

I do have one question...I always thought defacing currency was against the law...couldn't the feds shut this down, like, immediately, now that it's news and they know who's planning it, where and how? Don't get me wrong, I don't care if they do it...I just wonder if anyone thought about the legal implications of talking to a reporter about openly defacing thousands of dollars in currency....
