After the awards were given and the pitches pitched, the real work got started for me at the Common Pitch event last night at Turner Hall. A number of artists worked live on a variety of work from portraiture to a screen for screen-printing, and a few bands took to the stage to close out the night. Me and John Kowalczyk managed to get some good work done, some good pieces made, and I even managed to sell my creation. Take a look at what award ceremonies, four hours of drinking and deafeningly loud music at midnight at a historic venue will do for your art...
