Should Scholarships Have Race Requirements?

When a young white man walked on stage to receive the Dr. Martin Luther King Senior Citizen's Club $1,000, it was evident that something was strange...The award was intended for a black student and this man was white.  The crowed nervously laughed and presenters smiled and handed Jeffrey Warren the award, but the next morning, he and his family decided to return the money...take a look at the story which has gotten national attention...

I tell ya what, I applaud him for giving it back, but I don't know if I would. It's the fault of the organization for not wording the application correctly and not checking their regulations...he obviously was the one who earned it other than...you know...the race thing.

Are you uncomfortable reserving scholarships for certain races or does it just make up for the injustices of the past and present?
